Twix is one of six beautiful little boys known collectively as The Chocolate Box Litter—and this handsome chap certainly lives up to the name.
His coat is a rich, dark chocolate, appearing almost black in places, with warm caramel highlights where the light catches it. He has a broad snowy-white bib and belly, white toes and the sweetest dark little face, complete with thoughtful eyes and a wonderfully serious expression.
Twix’s mum is a purebred Pug and his dad is a purebred Border Collie. It is an unusual combination, but one that has produced a litter of bright, affectionate and thoroughly engaging little puppies.
Twix is a happy, people-loving boy who enjoys playtime, companionship and being involved in whatever is happening around him. He is growing up with his brothers and other dogs and is learning all the usual lessons of puppy life.
Despite the solemn expression in his photograph, Twix is no shrinking violet. He is a cheerful, curious little fellow with plenty of personality, and he is ready to bring some fun and affection into his new home.
Like every young puppy, Twix will need patient guidance as he learns about toilet training, walking on lead, household manners and the wider world. He will benefit from gentle, consistent training, positive socialisation and plenty of appropriate play and rest.
Twix is looking for a home where he will be treated as part of the family, allowed indoors and given the companionship, security and affection every puppy needs. His adopters must also be prepared for the time, work and occasional mischief that come with raising a baby dog.
Twix is available through ARK’s Deferred Desexing Program. The cost of his desexing is included in his adoption fee, subject to the terms and conditions of the adoption contract, and he must be desexed when he reaches the appropriate age.
This gorgeous little chocolate-and-white boy is ready now. All he needs is a family of his own.

Twix is available for interstate adoption. We are happy to advise on transport options, obtain quotes and make arrangements. For this little pup, we have a strong preference for road transport over air.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
