About Marty
🐾 Meet Marty 🐾
Marty is proof that even the toughest-looking cats can have the softest hearts.
This handsome boy came into our care as a stray, so unfortunately we don't know anything about his previous life. What we do know is that he'd clearly been living a rough life on the streets. He arrived sporting some impressive battle scars and a nasty cat-fight wound that needed plenty of TLC.
Because of his wounds, Marty was tested for FIV, and we're delighted to say his result was negative. Now that his injuries have healed beautifully, he's ready to leave his street-fighting days well and truly behind.
Despite his rugged appearance, Marty is a complete sweetheart with people. He's wonderfully friendly, loves a good smooch, and is more interested in cuddles than conflict these days. He's very much a cat's cat-independent enough to know his own mind, but always happy to spend time with his favourite humans.
As his history is unknown, we can't be sure how he'll feel about other cats or pets in a home environment, so any introductions should be made slowly and carefully.
To keep him safe and healthy, Marty will need an indoor-only lifestyle, where he can retire from neighbourhood brawls and enjoy the peaceful life he deserves.
If you're looking for a resilient gentleman who's traded street fights for headbutts and cuddles, Marty is ready for a fresh start with a family who'll make sure he never has to fight for a home again. 🐾❤️
