Pebbles is a sweet senior lady with plenty of love left to give-and just the right amount of tortitude to keep life interesting!

She came into our care after her previous owner could no longer look after her, making this lovely girl's world change overnight. When she first arrived, Pebbles was understandably overwhelmed. She spent her time trying to hide and let out the occasional hiss, but it was all bark and no bite. She remained easy to handle and simply displayed the typical "I'm not impressed with this situation" attitude of a much-loved pet adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings.

Once Pebbles gets to know you, she's an entirely different cat. Her sweet, social nature shines through, and she becomes an incredibly smoochy companion who loves spending time with her favorite people. She can still be a little reserved around strangers but give her a chance to settle and you'll quickly discover the affectionate girl underneath.

As a mature lady, Pebbles has had a thorough health check. She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, a common condition in older cats that is very manageable with lifelong medication and regular veterinary monitoring. She has also had a dental scale and polish, so she's heading into her new home with a clean, healthy smile.

Pebbles is looking for a calm indoor home where she can enjoy her golden years in comfort. Thanks to her trademark tortie sass, she'd be happiest in a home with older children or adults, rather than a busy household with young kids.
