Meet Coco
Coco is a sweet little girl with a big personality, looking for a family who will help her continue to grow in confidence.
She can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once she knows you’re a friend, she’s incredibly affectionate. She loves cuddles and quickly becomes a loyal little shadow.
Coco is very food motivated, making training fun and rewarding. She already knows "sit," enjoys her daily walks, and settles into a lovely pace once she's underway.
She is toilet trained (but being young and settling into a new home do expect the odd little accident), has mastered the stairs in her two-storey foster home, and has learned to use the doggy door.
When playtime rolls around, Coco loves her toys and is just as happy entertaining herself as she is inviting you to join in. At night, she's a champion snuggler who loves sleeping on the bed and burrowing under the blankets.
Like many young dogs, Coco is still learning a few life skills. She has very little recall, so she'll need a secure yard and should stay on lead in unfenced areas. She's also working on her door manners so needs a family to be careful around open doors. She can be protective of her toys, so her new family will need to continue her training.
Car rides are still a little scary for Coco, so travelling in a secure crate helps her feel safe.
Coco has been lovely with children, especially if snacks are involved! As with all dogs, interactions with young children should always be supervised.

How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
