About Jane
Hi, I'm Jane! I'm a clever Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross with a big heart, and I'm looking for a family to call my own!
If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I'm very smart. Show me a tasty treat, and I'll be learning new cues before you know it! I love using my brain, and training is one of my favourite ways to spend time with my people.
When we first meet, I might be a little shy. New people and places can make me a bit unsure, however if you give me a little patience and kindness, you'll soon see my sweet, playful personality shine through. Once I know you're one of the good ones, I'll be right by your side.
My dream home would be with someone who works average hours, so I'm not left on my own for too long each day. I'd love to be an important part of the family, with plenty of indoor time to relax, cuddle, and simply be where my people are. I'd also enjoy a securely fenced backyard where I can safely sniff, explore, and investigate all the interesting smells.
If you already have a calm, older dog, that could be just what I'm looking for! A gentle canine friend could help show me the ropes, teach me good manners, and give my confidence a little boost. I'll need slow, thoughtful introductions to any other animals, as I like to take my time getting to know new friends.
I'd also be happy in a home with respectful children aged 6 years and older who understand that sometimes I need a little space while I'm settling in.
