Don't let the name fool you-Mrs. Scraps is all heart.

This beautiful short-haired tabby arrived at the shelter looking like life had thrown a few challenges her way. She came in with some scabs and burrs around her face and neck of unknown origin, but they're healing beautifully, and she's ready to leave her hard days behind for good.

Mrs. Scraps was already desexed when she arrived, so she has almost certainly been someone's beloved pet before. Sadly, no one came looking for her, and now she's hoping to find a family who will make sure she never has to fend for herself again.

She can be a little shy when you first meet her, but it doesn't take much to win her over. A few gentle pats are all it takes before she starts leaning in for smooches and cuddles. Mrs. Scraps is also a quiet little chatterbox, greeting you with soft trills and happily wandering over to ask for affection. Beneath her slightly weathered exterior is an incredibly loving girl who simply wants to feel safe and cherished.

As she came into our care as a stray, we don't know how she feels about other pets, so any introductions should be done slowly and thoughtfully.

Mrs. Scraps would be happiest in a calm home without young children, where she can finally relax, enjoy the comforts of indoor life, and soak up all the love she has waited so long for.
