Charlie is a gorgeous 4-year-old Border Collie × Jack Russell Terrier, affectionately described as a "mini Border Collie." He is about Corgi size so quite small.

He has the intelligence and loyalty of a Border Collie wrapped up in a fun-sized package with just the right amount of Jack Russell charm.

The thing Charlie loves most in the world is his people. Big people, little people—it doesn't matter. He simply wants to be part of the family. He's wonderful with children and has such a sweet, affectionate nature that it's impossible not to fall in love with him.

Charlie enjoys spending time with other dogs and is always happy to join in for a play, but he isn't reliant on canine company. He's just as happy hanging out with his humans, whether that's heading out for a morning walk, going for a run, browsing the aisles of Bunnings, or curling up beside you after a busy day.
He's the perfect combination of active and relaxed.

Charlie loves getting out and about, but he also has a fantastic off switch and is more than happy to settle quietly at home with his family. He's not a dog who needs to be constantly entertained—he simply enjoys being with you.

Charlie is a smart cookie who genuinely wants to please. He already knows sit and wait, walks nicely on lead, is crate trained, and is eager to keep learning. With a little continued training and guidance, he'll absolutely thrive.

He's also doing wonderfully with the resident cats. While he's naturally curious, he's respectful and doesn't chase or harm them. He just needs gentle reminders about good manners and takes direction well.

As for chickens... Charlie thinks they're quite interesting! With time, patience and training, we believe he could learn to coexist with them, but at this stage we'd recommend a home without chickens unless his new family is committed to helping him learn.

And then there's bath time... Charlie is perfectly happy to hop in for a wash. The hair dryer, however, is clearly an evil monster that requires immediate investigation (and possibly a stern telling off!). It's one of his many quirky little traits that will have you laughing.

Charlie has so much love to give and is ready to find a family who will include him in their everyday life, continue his training, and love him as much as he'll love them.
