About Elsie - 11 Week Old Pug X Cavalier X Kelpie
Meet Elsie 🐾💕
If you're looking for the perfect blend of playful, affectionate and clever, then Elsie is your girl.
At just 11 weeks old, Elsie is a gorgeous Pug x Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Kelpie with the most beautiful black and tan Kelpie markings, luxuriously soft fur and a personality that's impossible not to fall in love with.
Elsie has a lovely, balanced temperament. She enjoys playing with her toys and canine friends, but she's not over-the-top busy. Think playful at a Cavalier level—happy to have fun, then equally happy to curl up beside you for a cuddle or nap.
Elsie already responds to her name, is making fantastic progress with toilet training and sleeps beautifully through the night in her crate. She's also showing the classic Kelpie eagerness to learn and loves praise, making her a wonderful candidate for ongoing training.
Currently in foster care, Elsie is gaining confidence every day and enjoys being around both people and other dogs. She would thrive in a home where she can continue learning, be included in family life and receive plenty of love and gentle guidance. With her combination of the Cavalier's affectionate nature, the Kelpie's intelligence and the Pug's charming personality, Elsie has all the ingredients to become an incredibly loyal and devoted family companion.

Her adoption fee is $800 which includes desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
She is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she’s 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
