Not every dachshund is the same.
Some are stubborn.
Some are mischievous.
And then there’s Roxy.
A little girl who somehow missed the memo that dachshunds are supposed to pretend they can’t hear you. She comes when she’s called, sits beautifully for her dinner and treats, and looks at you with eyes so full of love they could melt even the hardest heart.
But don’t let her good manners fool you
Roxy is still a dachshund where it matters most.
She believes blankets are made for burrowing, beds are made for sharing, and your toes were put on this earth purely for gentle little love nibbles.
She’s not interested in being the loudest dog in the room or the one chasing toys for hours. She’s a lover, not a player. Her greatest joy is simply being close to her people. Curled into your side, tucked safely beneath the blankets, listening to your heartbeat as she drifts off to sleep.
She adores dogs, children and even cats because to Roxy, everyone is simply another friend she hasn’t loved yet.
She’s also a clever little lady who is toilet trained, enjoys her kibble with Prime100 roll, and believes the greatest day of the week is the one where she gets her special treat of a sardine topped with a little Greek yoghurt. In true dachshund fashion, she’ll happily remind you when treat day arrives.
When you come home, it’s impossible not to smile. Her tiny body can’t contain her happiness. She wiggles from nose to tail, lets out the sweetest little whimpers, and greets you as though you’ve returned from a lifetime away.
If you do need to leave, Roxy is beautifully content in her crate. It’s her safe little den while she patiently waits for the only thing she’s really dreaming about - You coming home.
Somewhere along the way, this beautiful little girl learned that love is precious. She doesn’t ask for much. Just kindness. Warm blankets. Gentle hands. A family to call her own.
Someone who will never let her wonder where she belongs again.
 Roxy is desexed, vet checked, vaccinated, wormed, and ready to start her next chapter.
