About Gordon SUA015415 & Mama SUA015415
Some friendships are simply meant to last a lifetime, and for Gordon (5yo) and Mama (8yo), life is happiest when they're together. These beautiful girls share an unbreakable bond and must be adopted as a pair, as they rely on one another for comfort, confidence, and companionship.
Gordon is the quieter of the two and takes a little time to feel safe with new people and in unfamiliar surroundings. She's the kind of cat who likes to get to know you at her own pace, but once you've earned her trust, you'll discover an incredibly gentle and loving soul. Offer her a gentle scratch around the ears, and she'll happily lean in for more. Gordon is particularly nervous around men, so she is looking for a female-only home where she can truly relax and feel secure.
Mama is the confident half of this delightful duo. Friendly, affectionate, and always happy to soak up cuddles and attention, she's the perfect ambassador who helps Gordon feel safe and reassured. Watching the two of them together is heartwarming, and it's clear they bring out the very best in one another.
Their ideal home is a peaceful, adult-only household with no children, canines, or other felines. With patience, understanding, and a calm environment, these lovely ladies will reward their new family with unwavering companionship and plenty of quiet affection.
If you're looking to open your home to two truly special souls, Gordon and Mama are ready to fill your days with gentle purrs, loving cuddles, and the joy that only a bonded pair can bring.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
