Hi there, I’m Mopsey, a four-year-old with a soft coat, a patient heart, and a little spark of curiosity that wakes with the sun. I love the feel of a warm sunbeam on my back, the sound of a gentle voice calling my name, and the quiet comfort of a routine that stays steady through the day. I share my life with my best friend—a bonded pair, two calm souls who curl up together in a familiar corner. I’m slow to trust, quicker to glow once kindness and trust fill the room. Most days I move with a low-to-moderate energy, content to meander, sniff, and then rest in a sunlit patch. I’m happiest with people who speak softly and give me time to settle. I crave daily chances to learn about life—little puzzles, new routes to explore, and moments of gentle guidance that help me grow. I’m not comfortable with other pets in the house (no cats, no dogs), so I do best as the only dog in a home, alongside my bonded friend. I also need a sturdy 6-foot fence with footings to keep me safe. I’m drawn to a home with adults who understand my pace and respect my boundaries. I do well with children aged 12 and up, and I bring a thoughtful, breed-savvy sensibility to everyday life. A calm, predictable environment, patience for my learning, and a space where indoors and outdoors living can blend are ideal for me.
