Meet Spice

Small in size, big in personality!

Currently living in foster care with a loving family, Spice is the clever little explorer of the litter. She's usually the first to notice if a barrier door has been left open and is more than happy to lead her siblings off on their next adventure.

Although she's currently the smallest of the bunch, she has enough confidence and sass to make sure nobody overlooks her. Spice is playful, inquisitive and always ready to investigate what's happening around her.

When Spice first arrived into care, she was treated for suspected *Ehrlichia canis* (E. canis) as a precaution. She has made an excellent recovery and hasn't let it slow her down one bit.

Because Spice is growing up in foster care, we know her personality and can help you decide if she's the right match for your home. We don't have a shelter you can visit, but once you've submitted an adoption application, we can arrange a meet and greet to introduce you to this tiny explorer.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.

2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.

3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.

4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
