💙 Meet Soy, back in care and ready for his next chapter

With his striking blue eyes and thoughtful nature, Soy has plenty of charm. He has been returned to SAFE’s care and is available for adoption again. Like any growing puppy, he needs patient guidance, consistent training and clear boundaries to help him learn the ropes.

Soy enjoys a good game of chase, a peaceful nap and curling up for cuddles when the adventures are over. He can have a lovely relaxed side, but he is still a puppy with plenty to learn about manners and everyday life.

His new family will need to help him practise those skills with positive reinforcement, a steady routine and kindness. Puppy charm gets you noticed, but patient teaching helps you grow!

Soy is currently in foster care with a loving family. This means we can get to know his personality and needs and help you explore whether he is a suitable match for your home.

SAFE does not have a shelter you can visit, but meeting Soy is easy. Submit an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet with this handsome boy.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.

2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.

3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.

4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
