About Doc
Hi, I'm Doc.
If you are looking for a puppy who is always ready for fun, I think we should meet.
I am a happy, energetic boy who loves being involved in whatever is happening around me. If another dog is nearby, I am usually the first one to say hello and ask if they would like to play. I love having dog friends and am always interested in what everyone else is doing.
I get along wonderfully with other dogs, but I could also be happy as an only pet. If I am your only dog though, I will need a family who has plenty of time for games, adventures, and playtime because I have lots of energy and love being active.
I have spent time with young children and have been a very good boy. I am gentle, friendly, and enjoy being part of the action. I do well meeting new people, though I haven't had many opportunities to practice yet.
My favourite toys are rope toys and soft squeaky toys. If it squeaks, there is a good chance I will love it. I enjoy chasing, tugging, and proudly carrying my toys.
I am learning my puppy manners and currently working on things like sitting and responding to my name. Sometimes I get so excited about life that slowing down long enough to listen can be a challenge. I am still a baby after all. With patience, consistency, and a few treats, I know I will keep improving.
I am doing really well with my toileting. I use puppy pads indoors and happily head outside when the door is open. I sleep inside in my crate and settle well at night.
One thing you should know about me is that I love attention. If I think playtime has ended too soon, I might gently tug on your clothes to convince you to come back and continue the fun. I also enjoy running circles around the bigger dog in my foster home. It is one of my favourite games and it keeps everyone entertained.
I have been very good at the vet and even handled bath time like a champion. I did try to leave the bath once, but once I realised it was happening, I stood nicely and behaved myself.
My foster carer describes me as a playful, happy puppy who loves life. I am curious, affectionate, and always looking for my next adventure.
If you are searching for a fun loving companion who will keep you smiling, keep you active, and fill your home with laughter, I would love to meet
you.
Love,
Doc

Adoption Process
Please complete your adoption application in full and provide all required supporting documentation, including veterinary records for any existing pets and, where applicable, a copy of your current lease agreement with written permission to keep pets. Applications will not be assessed until all requested information has been received.
Applications are not approved on a first come, first served basis. Every application is carefully assessed to ensure the best possible match between the animal and their new home. We consider the individual needs of each animal, your lifestyle, experience, home environment, and ability to provide lifelong care. If we believe the animal you have applied for is not the right fit, we will happily work with you to find a more suitable match.
Cats are adopted as strictly indoor-only pets. They must not be allowed to roam outdoors under any circumstances. Secure outdoor cat enclosures or supervised harness walks are acceptable where appropriate.
Dogs will only be adopted into homes with secure, escape-proof fencing suitable for the size, breed, and needs of the individual dog. Applicants may be asked to provide photos or videos of their fencing and yard as part of the assessment process.
If your application is approved, your contact details will be provided to the animal's foster carer, who will contact you to arrange a meet-and-greet and, if suitable, a handover.
Prior to collection, you will receive an adoption agreement, copies of the animal's veterinary records, and payment details. The signed adoption agreement and full payment of the adoption fee must be received before the animal can leave our care.
We offer a two-week trial period to help ensure the adoption is the right fit for both you and the animal. If the adoption does not proceed during this period, the animal must be returned to our care. The adoption fee will be refunded less an administration fee, provided the animal is returned in the same condition in which it was adopted.
Our priority is placing every animal into a safe, loving, and permanent home. We reserve the right to decline any application if we believe it is not in the animal's best interests.
