Meet Maude Ivory, she is a beautiful chocolate and white Border Collie mix with the most stunning eyes. She is a bundle of energy and affection. She has an incredible zest for life, loves everyone she meets and is always eager to learn. This little pocket rocket is hoping for her escape to the country, especially with some room to roam and another dog to zoom around with!

Maude Ivory’s looking for someone who has experience and knowledge of working breeds like her. Although she loves a good snuggle on the couch, it’s still crucial for her to get both mental and physical stimulation to thrive.

Maude Ivory would thrive in an active home that can continue her training, provide plenty of exercise and enrichment, and give her all the love and companionship she deserves. A home with another friendly dog would be a wonderful match, as Maude Ivory genuinely loves the company of other dogs and would love a playmate.

Maude Ivory is a clever girl who already knows a number of basic commands and genuinely enjoys her training sessions. She has made so much progress with her leash walking and has leaned to sit, drop, stand and wait. While her food drive still has room to grow, Maude Ivory’s love for toys has massively improved her recall and ability to focus and disengage around distractions.

She walks nicely on lead most of the time, and is keen to make new friends. She'd happily say hello to every dog she meets if given the chance! This is something she has been working on and she continues to improve with consistent training. Similarly, her recall is still a work in progress, but she has made significant strides and is becoming more responsive every week.

Maude Ivory is fully toilet trained, sleeps through the night in her crate and loves going on adventures in the car. She can happily be left at home for reasonable periods, but she loves being included in family life and spending time with her people.

Like any young working breed mix, Maude Ivory needs regular exercise and mental stimulation. Once she's had the opportunity to burn some energy and engage her busy mind, she is happy to settle down and relax alongside her family.

Maude Ivory has spent time around children and has been very gentle and happy in their company. However, given her youthful enthusiasm and energy levels, older dog-savvy children may be the best match.

Maude Ivory is a wonderful young dog with enormous potential. She has all the intelligence, affection and enthusiasm that make this breed mix such rewarding companions and is looking for a home that will continue to invest in her development while enjoying everything that makes her special.

Maude Ivory has shown some anxious tendencies, which are currently being investigated; her new family should also be prepared to continue this journey with her to make sure she reaches the stellar potential we all know she has!
