About Boof - 1 Year Old Mastiff X Labrador
Meet Boof 🧡
At just over a year old, Boof is a gorgeous Mastiff x Labrador with a heart every bit as big as he is. Gentle, affectionate and incredibly loyal, Boof is the kind of dog who simply wants to be wherever his people are. If you’re looking for a best friend who will follow you from room to room, curl up beside you on the couch and greet you with endless love every day, Boof is your boy.
Boof is completely toilet trained, sleeps quietly through the night on his own bed and has a beautiful, easy-going nature. He absolutely adores people and loves nothing more than being included in family life. Despite his size, he genuinely believes he’s a lap dog and will happily spend hours snuggled up with you.
One of Boof’s greatest qualities is how well he gets along with other dogs. He’s friendly with every dog he meets, isn’t fazed by reactive dogs and would absolutely thrive in a home with a confident canine companion. Having another dog around would not only give him a playmate but also help him feel more settled and secure.
Like any young Labrador cross, Boof has a cheeky side. If there’s food left on the kitchen bench, he’ll happily investigate, and he’s always on the lookout for an opportunity to sneak himself a tasty treat. He’s a smart boy who hasn’t had a lot of formal training but is eager to learn with consistency, patience and positive reinforcement.
Boof forms incredibly strong bonds with his family and doesn’t cope well being left alone for long periods. Because of this, he will need either a home where someone is around most of the time or a home with another friendly dog to keep him company. Just as importantly, Boof will require a very secure yard. His new family will need to understand that keeping him safe and secure is essential while he continues to build confidence and settle into his new routine.
Boof isn’t looking for just a house, he’s looking for a family to love with his whole heart. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, affectionate companion who will make you laugh with his goofy personality, keep you company through every part of your day and love you unconditionally.
