If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will adore you, I think we might be the perfect match.

Everyone tells me I’m a clever boy. I already know sit, stay, and happily wait on my mat until I’m told I can move. I walk beautifully on lead, sleep through the night, and have even been to cafés and Bunnings where I impressed everyone with my manners.

But my favourite thing isn’t showing off how smart I am it’s cuddling. If you’re sitting down, I’ll happily snuggle up beside you for tummy rubs, ear scratches and plenty of affection. Being with my people is my favourite place to be.

I’m currently on daily medication to help with some anxiety as I adjust to life after the pound, but this may be able to be weaned once I’m settled into my forever home.

I’m happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time. I love company, whether we’re out for a walk or simply relaxing together.

Like any dog, I’m still learning. I get very excited about food, but I’ve made amazing progress with clear boundaries. I now happily wait outside the kitchen while meals are prepared and stay on my bed while my foster family eats. I love knowing what’s expected of me and learn incredibly quickly.

My ideal home would be with one or two confident adults, or a family with older teenagers who will continue my training. Because I can become overexcited around food, I’m not suited to a home with young children. While I enjoy meeting other dogs on walks, I’d love to be the only dog in my forever home so I can soak up all the love and attention.

In return, I’ll give you my whole heart. I’ll be your adventure buddy, your cuddle companion, and your most loyal friend. My foster family says my best years are still ahead of me I just need someone willing to give me the chance to show them.
