True to his name, Possum is a bright, cheeky, and adventurous little character with a big personality and an even bigger heart! 🧗♂️🌟 He approaches life with pure enthusiasm—whether he’s racing to greet you at the door, scaling the nearest cat tree, or pouncing on his favourite fast-moving toys!
Possum is a brave, outgoing explorer who loves attention from everyone he meets. He’s also a passionate foodie—the moment he hears mealtime prep, he’ll come running to make sure he’s first in line! 🍗😋 After a big session of zooming and exploring, you’ll find him snuggled up on the softest, furriest rug or cushion he can find for a cosy nap.
He shares an unbreakable bond with his sister, Wombat. Having stepped up as her brave protector when they were small, Possum continues to give her confidence and comfort, and his fearless nature brings out the absolute best in her thoughtful, gentle spirit! 👯♂️💕

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
