Wombat is a thoughtful, observant little girl with beautiful, curious eyes who has made incredible progress in foster care! 🌸 While she was frightened when she first arrived, she has blossomed a little more each day, discovering that humans bring safety, love, and—best of all—Churu treats! 🍡
Wombat is a quiet observer who likes to watch the world go by. In fact, her favourite spot is snuggled in a cat bed right next to her foster carer’s desk, keeping a close eye on all the daily work! 💻 When she's not supervising, she transforms into a cute little bundle of energy, batting small toys around with her paws or chasing anything that moves. 🧸⚡
She’s starting to learn just how lovely chin scratches are, and when she’s feeling sleepy, she’ll happily settle in for a gentle cuddle.

🐱 Cat Friendly: Yes! She loves other cats and shares an unbreakable bond with her brother, Possum. The pair must be adopted together as they give each other endless confidence and comfort! 👯

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
