About Solomon
Solomon is an absolute delight with his solid, steadfast presence and deeply affectionate nature.
This gorgeous fella will love-on you with great dedication, weaving back and forth between your feet, kneading your knees, smooching your arms and hands. He will happily spend his time with you each day, strolling through the house together, and then cuddling on the couch.
When you are out, he’ll happily snooze quietly under the couch or on a bed. Solomon is looking for a quiet life indoors, with a special person or people to call his own.
He doesn’t want a feline companion and he is litter trained.
Solomons coat is so devine, it is thick and almost feels like velvet, you will want to pat him as much as he wants to be patted.
Solomon has a virus that weakens his immunity called (FIV). There is no need for alarm, it doesn’t affect humans or other species and is only passed on to other cats either from mum to her babies or from deep bites or wounds from an infected cat.
FIV doesn’t affect Solomon’s beautiful affectionate nature but it does mean he needs to be strictly an inside cat so he isn’t exposed to any cat infections and diseases that could be in the community.
All you would need to do as Solomon's owner is what all responsible cat owners do for their cats which is, a good diet, regular flea and worm treatments, vaccinate every year, regular full health checks at the vets, and to keep Solomon strictly inside.
FIV rarely causes symptoms as is and many go their entire lives showing no signs of infection or disease. Owners can help ensure their cats are well protected by keeping them indoors all the time.

Solomon Requires the following in his new home:
- To live strictly inside the home.
- To be the only cat living in the home, he prefers human company.
- Someone that understands FIV or willing to read or talk to their vets about it.
- A maintained flea and worm, and vaccination schedule with regular vet vists.
- A good diet.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition that you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
