About Moo Shu
*In foster care in Carlingford, Sydney*
Could you be Moo Shu's new family?
If you've already got another friendly cat (or two) at home, and maybe a dog who's cool with having their tail treated like a toy, you're already a top contender!
Tiny and quite unwell when she arrived in foster care, Moo Shu has made great strides in every way - and the other pets she lives with have been a huge part of her progress. Early on, the prospect of getting out of quarantine to play with the 'big cats' spurred on her recovery, and they've since taught her loads of life skills, from eating happily in a group to learning that most people have kind hands and warm laps. Some of them even have Churus (definitely the way to her heart)!
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate and playful companion who adores other pets (and the odd game of soccer), Moo Shu might just be your perfect match.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Moo Shu is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be full of love and calm vibes, with couches to share while you watch TV, other friendly cats to cuddle and play with, and maybe even a dog whose tail I can chase! I’d love a quiet sort of family who speaks softly and who'll let me settle in for as long as it takes, without pressure.
I used to worry there wouldn't be enough food for me at meal times and could get quite territorial, but I'm much more relaxed now!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: As my confident grows, my kittenish spirit grows with it!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Gentle children who won't try to scare me and will give me space when I need it, ideally of at least school age (6+) will be my best match.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love, love, LOVE the other pets in my foster home, so I'm super keen to be BFFs with yours!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
