Large Hadron Collider

Curious, playful and just a little bit elusive—Large Hadron Collider (aka Hadron) is busy investigating the mysteries of the universe… or at least whatever is inside that drawer you accidentally left open. 🔭🐭 Hadron is a gorgeous black-and-white girl with a medium-length coat, striking amber eyes and an excellent little eye patch. She’s an explorer at heart: she loves investigating every corner of the house, watching trees and birds from her favourite window perches, and enthusiastically hunting anything involving feathers. Her absolute favourite is a rattle mouse with a feather tail, although she’s not terribly discerning when there are feathers to chase.

Hadron is still learning that humans can be pretty good company. She prefers affection on her own terms, but lately she’s started choosing to join her house humans on the couch in the evenings and likes settling near their feet. She’ll even admit—very reluctantly—that a good scratch behind the ears is rather nice. Food is another excellent route to her heart: creamy treats are a winner, and apparently the laws of physics cease to apply entirely when bacon is involved. 🥓

Where Hadron really shines is with other cats. She adores feline company, including her sister Blackbird, and her curious, playful nature makes her the kind of kitten who could be a wonderful companion for a young, social cat. She’ll suit someone happy to give her plenty of play, patience and ongoing gentle socialisation while allowing her confidence with people to keep developing at her own pace. 🖤🤍

MY IDEAL HOME:
Hadron would thrive in a patient home with plenty of play, interesting places to explore and people who are happy to let her approach affection on her own terms; a friendly young cat looking for a playful companion would be a particularly lovely match.

MY ENERGY LEVEL:
Hadron is a curious, active and playful kitten who loves feather toys, exploring the house and keeping tabs on the outside world from a good window perch.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN:
Hadron hasn’t lived with children, but could suit a home with older, respectful children who understand that she likes to choose when and how she interacts.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS:
Hadron loves other cats and would be very well suited to a home with a friendly feline companion; she hasn’t met dogs, so her suitability with them is currently unknown.
