About Dean
READY FOR ADOPTION – MEET DEAN
Are you looking for a new fur baby who will melt your heart and make you laugh at his antics every day? Well, your search may be over! 🥰
Meet Dean — a gentle giant with big paws and an even bigger heart. You will be smitten from the moment you meet this gorgeous boy. 💕
Personal space? What’s that? 😂 Dean absolutely loves being close to his people and his fur sibling. He is a loyal boy who forms strong bonds quickly and is an incredibly happy, affectionate boy.
One of Dean’s adorable quirks is bringing his toys to you while wiggling his bum and grunting. It is impossible not to smile when Dean is around! 🥹🐾
Dean is toilet trained and doing exceptionally well with his obedience training. He is eager to please and food motivated, making training both easy and enjoyable. He has impeccable manners on the lead and happily walks beside you. He also travels beautifully in the car. 🚗🐶
Dean is a social butterfly who enjoys meeting new people and canine companions. He currently lives with another dog and absolutely loves having a friend. 🐕💕
Dean’s ideal family will include him as part of the family and take him along on adventures. As a Staghound, Dean craves human affection and would love to sleep in his own bed — or yours! — close to his people at night. 🥰
Dean would love a canine companion and would benefit from having an older brother or sister to help guide him. With continued training, love and consistency, Dean will grow into the most wonderful addition to his forever family. ❤️
Dean is a truly special boy who has so much love to give. If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate, fun-loving companion who wants nothing more than to be part of your family, Dean may be the boy for you. 🏡💕

Medical notes
Dean came into care with severely damaged teeth and has recently had a dental makeover, including five teeth being restored and a full dental clean.
Due to Dean having brittle teeth, which is most likely genetic, his veterinarian has advised that he must not have hard items such as bones, antlers, goat horns or hard toys for the rest of his life.
This is important to protect Dean’s teeth and prevent further damage, allowing him to maintain a healthy and comfortable mouth for years to come. 🐶🦷
