At just four months old, Archie has already endured more hardship than any puppy ever should.

Archie and his brother were heartlessly dumped in a State Forest and left to fend for themselves. Alone, frightened and in poor condition, they faced an uncertain future until they were rescued and given a second chance.

Since coming into foster care with German Shepherd Rescue NSW, Archie has completely transformed. With plenty of nutritious puppy food, warm, comfortable beds, veterinary care and lots of love, he has flourished into a happy, healthy and confident young boy.

Archie has been thoughtfully socialised with friendly puppies and adult dogs, helping him develop excellent canine manners and confidence. Living on a farm has also given him the opportunity to safely explore, play and discover the world around him while enjoying a structured daily routine. He has embraced every new experience with enthusiasm and has settled beautifully into foster care.

Archie is an affectionate, playful puppy who loves being part of the action. Like all young dogs, he is eager to learn and will thrive with a family committed to continuing his training, socialisation and positive guidance as he grows.
Now all Archie needs is a family of his own, a place where he will never again have to wonder if he is safe, loved or wanted.

Training with Archie is an excellent opportunity to build a strong bond while teaching her important life skills. His intelligence will shine as he picks up new commands and routines, further solidifying the partnership between you and your new furry friend.

We always recommend to continue puppy training when you take your dog home. Training doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun experience for you both, it doesn’t have to take long and is a great way for you to bond with your new dog.

For those with prior experience, especially with large breeds, Archie could be the perfect addition to your home. Committed to providing his new family with loyalty and love, he is eager to start her adventures with you.

Archie is currently available for adoption in NSW, ACT, Queensland and Victoria. If you're interested in making him a cherished member of your family, you'll need to drive with your loved ones to meet him. Should he, for any reason, not be the perfect fit for your family, you would be responsible for either bringing him back to Sydney or helping us rehome him from your home.
