About Tilly ^^Dandy Cat Rescue^^
🐱🐱 $120 adoption fee 🐱🐱
Tilly is a gorgeous torti kitten with a heart full of love and a bright future ahead of her.
She is looking for a family who will embrace one small medical consideration in exchange for a lifetime of unwavering affection and companionship.
As a young kitten, Tilly injured the growth plate in her left elbow. After extensive veterinary assessment, including repeat X-rays, it was determined that she did not have a fracture and surgery was not required.
Today, she enjoys a completely normal, active kitten life, running, climbing and playing just like any other youngster.
Her injury may mean she develops a very mild occasional limp, particularly after resting or after an especially energetic play session, and there is a possibility she may develop some arthritis in that elbow later in life.
To help protect her joints, her family will simply need to keep her at a healthy, lean weight throughout adulthood. Aside from this sensible long-term management, Tilly requires no ongoing treatment and has an excellent prognosis for living a long, happy and active life.
Now that we've covered the practicalities, let's talk about the wonderful little cat Tilly really is.
If you're looking for a kitten who wants to be your constant companion, you've just found her. Tilly absolutely adores people.
She doesn't just enjoy your company—she wants to be part of everything you do.
The moment you sit down, she'll be curled up on your lap before you've had a chance to get comfortable. Whether you're watching television, reading a book or working from home, Tilly will happily keep you company every step of the way.
She can be a little possessive of her favourite humans because she simply loves them so much. She's happiest when she's close to her people and would be miserable spending long days home alone, so she's searching for a family where someone is home for much of the day.
Tilly is curious, funny and incredibly sweet natured. While she isn't particularly chatty, she has a gentle, loving personality that makes her wonderful company.
This girl gets along well with other cats, although people will always be her first choice. She would likely be happy with respectful children and, with careful introductions, may also adapt well to living with a calm, cat-friendly dog.
If you're searching for a devoted little shadow who will fill your home with cuddles, companionship and unconditional love, Tilly is ready to make herself at home—quite possibly on your lap.

Medical notes
When Tilly was a young kitten, she injured the growth plate in her left elbow. After thorough veterinary examinations and repeat X-rays, it was determined that she had not fractured the bone.
Instead, she sustained a minor injury to the growth plate, which did not require surgery. Since then, Tilly has recovered extremely well and enjoys a completely normal, active kitten life, spending her days running, climbing, playing and exploring just like any other kitten.
The only lasting effect of her injury is that she may have a very mild occasional limp in her left front leg, particularly after resting or following lots of energetic play. This does not stop her from enjoying life or keeping up with other kittens, but there is a possibility she could develop some arthritis in that elbow as she gets older.
We are able to produce all of her vet records to her potential adopter to review, keep and pass along to your own vet clinic.
