READY FOR ADOPTION – MEET AXEL

Axel is an approximately seven-month-old male Staffy cross who currently weighs around 12kg and is expected to mature into a medium-sized dog.

With his beautiful tan coat, soft fur, sparkling hazel eyes and adorable floppy ears, Axel is super sweet and cuddly and is seeking the care and love he deserves. He and his three siblings were surrendered to a critically overcrowded rural pound in New South Wales. When they arrived, they were severely underweight, desperately hungry and unfamiliar with consistent access to food, fresh water and kindness.

Despite such a difficult beginning, Axel has adapted so well to new surroundings, loves a snuggle with either a human or another furry friend. Axel is a clever cookie, loves to sit for treats and very playful in nature.

Axel is a relaxed yet energised, well natured puppy who gets along well with other dogs and children too. Always wants to know where we are, follows you around and will have his head or paw touching you as soon as you sit down.

From day one Axel has always been gentle and adaptable. Loves being held and considers himself a lap dog. He enjoys a snuggle on the couch but also has perfected the puppy dog eyes when told to sit on his bed. He happily sleeps inside or outside and adapts very quickly to new surroundings.

Axel loves going for walks and drives in the car and just wants to be a part of the family.

Axel would love another dog to snuggle with, children to play with, or a lap to relax in if it's just adult companionship.

Axel is quiet and loving, well behaved, social and adventurous. After his rough beginnings Axel is ready for stability and loyalty and a forever family to play with and love.
