Meet Paradise.

She's the entitled eldest daughter of the dog world.

She has opinions. Lots of them.

She'll sound like a full-sized Doberman if someone dares walk past your house, then five minutes later she'll be upside down asking them for belly rubs.

She's all go and no whoa.

Turn your back for thirty seconds and she'll quietly open a cupboard like a tiny James Bond, steal your favourite shoes, liberate your underwear and start redecorating the house with paper towels.

Cardboard, paper, plastic, ribbon... if it looks remotely interesting, Paradise considers it fair game. (For the record, she'd also like to apologise to one very expensive fitted sheet. Actually... no she wouldn't.)

She adores toys. Squeaky toys. Tug toys. Throw toys. If it squeaks, bounces or can be proudly paraded around the backyard, she's already claimed it.

She's absolutely convinced every dog wants to play with her. Turn her loose with another playful dog and she transforms into a tiny cheetah on ridiculously long, baby-deer legs. Watching her run is worth the price of admission.

Personal space? Never heard of it. Paradise believes every human deserves a thorough bum sniff before any formal introductions take place.

The funny thing is... you can't stay cross with her. Even when you're standing in the middle of a paper towel snowstorm wondering where your underwear went, she'll look at you with that cheeky face as if to say, "What? I was helping."

And somehow, you believe her.

For all her bravado, she's a complete fraud. She sleeps beautifully through the night, melts into cuddles, and loves nothing more than being close to her people once the adventures are over.

Paradise isn't naughty. She's clever. Really clever. She needs people who'll laugh often, keep her busy, provide plenty of exercise and enrichment, and set kind but firm boundaries. She's not trying to run the household... she just assumes she already does.

If you're looking for a quiet little lap dog, Paradise will love that, but then she’s up for adventure. She loves to curl into you though & sleep through the night!
