About Birdi
Introducing Birdi, an enchanting 8-year-old Dachshund with an irresistible zest for life. Despite her pint-sized stature, Birdi is charming and full of character, and her entertaining personality is guaranteed to brighten any day. With her bubbly and extroverted nature, Birdi quickly becomes the center of attention, winning hearts with her playful antics and cheeky antics. She is a social butterfly, loves people and treats, and is certain to sprinkle joy wherever she goes.
Birdi is an adaptable and resilient little lady with an intriguing blend of confidence and warmth. She endears herself with her gentle manners and her sassy, vivacious streak. While she's not tested with cats yet, she gets along well with people and loves social settings. Whether it's cuddling up beside you or expressing her love with playful nudges, Birdi is a snuggle bud like no other.
Some may say she isn't a fan of a lead or harness yet, nor is she reliable with commands, but that doesn't stop Birdi from being an affectionate companion. Her calm demeanor and eagerness to learn make her a promising candidate to overcome these small hurdles with trust and patience.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
