About Minnie
Introducing Minnie!
Minnie is a petite Border Collie x born approx 17th July 2025.
Minnie was brought to the facility as an unmicrochipped stray & sadly no one came looking for her.
When Minnie was first brought into the facility she was very timid & flighty in her new environment, however since being with us her confidence has grown tremendously. She's an incredibly playful & affectionate girl. She loves to cuddle and will gently put her front paws on your tummy to get as close as possible to you. Minnie loves to play with toys, she's very gentle with treats & appears to be well behaved with children.
Minnie tested well with other dogs however we only had one dog we were able to test her with. While the other dog was very scared, Minnie was very sweet & only wanted to play with her. We believe Minnie could be suitable to live with another dog or be the spoilt only "child" at home. If you have a friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Minnie is currently untested with cats & pocket pets.
Minnie has shown no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety since being at the facility.
Minnie would love to be adopted to a home where she is included as a member of the family.

Minnie’s adoption fee is $500, and this includes her desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Minnie is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Minnie is currently located in East Maitland.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
