About Homie
Meet Homie! Homie is a sweet, gentle boy looking for a loving family to call his own. While he can be a little nervous when meeting new people, he warms up quickly once he knows he's safe and can trust you. With a little patience and a handful of treats, you'll soon discover his affectionate and loyal nature.
Homie has a history of positive social behaviour with other dogs and animals. He's particularly good at reading canine body language and interacting appropriately with other dogs, which means he could go home with a suitably matched canine companion pending a meet and greet.
He already knows some basic commands and is very food-motivated, which makes ongoing training both fun and rewarding and he will surely benefit from ongoing training. Having lived as both an indoor and outdoor dog, Homie is adaptable to a variety of home environments. He's toilet trained and accustomed to family life, including living with children, making him a wonderful candidate for a family home. Homie would thrive with adopters who can provide reassurance, structure, and plenty of love as he settles into his new surroundings. In return, you'll gain a devoted companion who enjoys being part of the family and sharing life's everyday moments.
