About Sterling
Meet Sterling!
Sterling is a handsome young Labrador with a gentle nature who is looking for a patient and understanding home. He can be a little unsure when faced with new people, places, and experiences, but once he feels comfortable, he forms strong bonds and enjoys spending time with his trusted people.
Having missed out on some important socialisation and training opportunities, Sterling is still learning about the world around him. He will benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training, confidence-building, and a predictable routine to help him continue to grow. Like many Labradors, he is intelligent, food-motivated, and eager to learn when given the chance.
Sterling needs to be a solo pet and is seeking an experienced home that understands he may need extra time and support to settle in and reach his full potential. For someone willing to invest in his journey, Sterling has all the makings of a loyal and rewarding companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
