Meet Tawny 🐾

Tawny is a beautiful young cat with a gentle heart who is looking for a patient family to help her blossom. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and trusts you, her wonderful personality shines through.

When Tawny decides you're her person, you'll have a loyal little companion who follows you from room to room, chatting away with her adorable chirp-like meow and gently nudging your feet for attention. She’s a happy, bubbly girl who absolutely loves playtime, whether she’s entertaining herself with a case of the zoomies or chasing toys with her humans.

Her favourite toys are little toy mice and anything string-like that she can pounce on and chase. Tawny would likely love the company of another young, playful cat to share games and adventures with.

She’s also a champion purrer who enjoys rolling around happily for pats, and with time and patience, we think she’ll become the kind of cat who loves curling up on the bed with her family.

Tawny’s ideal home is one that understands she needs a gentle introduction to new surroundings. Moving slowly, using a soft voice, and winning her over with tasty treats will help her confidence continue to grow. In return, you'll be rewarded with an incredibly affectionate, playful, and devoted companion.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth - or with another kitten too because we can fly in the same crate!

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Are you able to commit to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable home for the cat?

2. Do you have the financial resources to provide for the cat's basic needs such as food, litter, toys, and veterinary care?

3. Are you able to commit to spending time to socialize and train the cat?

4. Are you prepared to keep the cat indoors at all times? An INSIDE cat is a SAFE cat 

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
