About Daisy
Hi, I'm Daisy! 🐶🤍
I came into rescue through no fault of my own. I spent my entire life with one loving family, growing up alongside children, cats, and another small dog. Sadly, due to work commitments, my family had to move overseas and weren't able to take me with them.
Since coming into foster care, I've been enjoying the chance to let my personality shine while I wait for my perfect forever home.
I'm a loving, affectionate girl who enjoys nothing more than snuggling up with my humans, having a nap nearby, and playing with my favourite toys. I already know my basic training, but I'll need my new family to continue helping me with my lead walking. I get so excited when it's time for a walk that I tend to pull, simply because I didn't get to go on many adventures growing up. The good news is I'm an eager learner and love making my people happy. While I am a quiet girl at home, when I am out and about, I love to talk from all my excitement. Please don't let this put you off, I am just talking but I promise I am not loud at home.
I'm wonderful with children and have been raised around them my whole life. Even in my foster home, having a child around doesn't bother me at all. I'd happily fit into a family looking for a gentle, loving companion.
The biggest adjustment for me has been being on my own. I've always had either people or other animals around, so moving into a foster home where I'm the only pet has been a big change. As a result, I've developed some separation anxiety and can find being left alone a little overwhelming.
Because of this, I'm looking for a family who understands that I'll need time, patience, and reassurance while I settle into my new home. Ideally, someone would be home for much of the day, or I'd have a friendly canine companion to help me feel safe and confident.
If you're looking for a loyal best friend who's full of love and ready to become part of the family, I might just be the girl you've been searching for.
**Daisy was purchased from an interstate breeder as a puppy, the family being under the impression she was a purebred Frenchie. When she kept growing, it became apparent that wasn't the case. While Daisy isn't the size of a Staff, she is muscular and bigger than a Frenchie. Please take this into consideration when apply for Daisy. If you are mainly interested in her because of the Frenchie half of her, she is not the gorgeous girl for you and please do not apply. We do not want to discourage you from her, she is a gorgeous natured lady, but she would not be what you are looking for**
