About Jessie
Meet Jessie, an eight-year-old German Shepherd with a big heart and a mind ready to bond with her new family. Jessie has had some basic obedience training—she can sit, drop, stay, come, heel, and even play dead! Her eagerness to please and ability to retain commands make her an excellent candidate for continued training, which can be a fun, rewarding experience for both you and Jessie.
A social girl at heart, Jessie has lived harmoniously with other dogs and a young child. Her preference leans slightly towards larger canine companions, with whom she forms strong, playful bonds, making her an adaptable addition to homes with existing pets. Jessie's loyal demeanor ensures that she will be a devoted companion, offering unconditional love and adventure for those experienced with larger breeds.
We always recommend to continue training when you take your dog home. Training doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun experience for you both, it doesn’t have to take long and is a great way for you to bond with your new dog.
For those with prior experience, especially with large breeds, Jessie could be the perfect addition to your home. Committed to providing her new family with loyalty and love, she is eager to start her adventures with you.
Jessie is currently available for adoption in NSW, ACT, Queensland and Victoria. If you're interested in making her a cherished member of your family, you'll need to drive with your loved ones to meet him. Should she, for any reason, not be the perfect fit for your family, you would be responsible for either bringing her back to Sydney or helping us rehome her from your home.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
