About Yuki
Yuki is the kind of cat who reminds you that the most meaningful relationships take time. She can be shy and easily startled by loud or unexpected noises, so she'll need a calm home and someone willing to let her settle in at her own pace. But once she feels safe, she gives you her whole heart.
She isn't a lap cat, but she always wants to be close. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or heading to bed for the night, Yuki will quietly make her way beside you, making sure she's touching you in some way. It's her gentle way of saying, "I'm here." She adores long head scratches and pats, and one of her sweetest little quirks is how much she enjoys gentle paw massages. Her soft, kind nature shines brighter every day as her confidence grows.
Yuki is cat social and would do well in a home with a kind resident cat companion. She would not be suitable for a household with dogs or young children.
Yuki is quietly curious and loves to watch what you're doing, often following you from room to room just to be near you. The trust she gives isn't instant it's something she chooses to share, and that's what makes it so special. If you're patient enough to let Yuki come to you, she'll steal your heart... and once she has it, she won't let go.
Medical notes
Yuki has had a bit of tummy upset and is currently eating Gastrointestinal Biome. We do not expect she will require this long term.
Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
