Meet Tux!

Tux is handsome, smart, energetic, and totally lovable. Now that he's settled with his foster family, he's shown just how loyal he can be. He can be a little timid at first, but he's steadily gaining trust and confidence every day.

Tux walks well on the lead, travels well in the car, is fully toilet trained, and loves being indoors with his family. He gets on well with other dogs, is great around his carer's chickens, and has had positive (if limited) interactions with a cat. His favourite game is "chase or steal the shoe" - and he's fast, so be ready to run!

Tux has lots of energy, so he'll need an active family who can make time every day for long runs and playtime. He's also a bit of an explorer and will get over or under fencing to go look around if he can, so high, secure fencing is essential for this intrepid boy.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos/video of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into the Second Tale Animal Rescue (STAR) bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email them the vet records.
