🌞💛 Hey friends, I’m Ryder! I’m a sweet, easy going little guy with a personality that fits beautifully into family life.

I first met my rescuers on their morning walk — I decided to follow them home, and when no owner came forward, I officially joined the SCA family. I’ve had my vet check, desex, microchip and vaccination, and now I’m ready to find my forever humans.

I’m confident, adaptable, and love being around people. I’ll follow you from room to room, greet our guests, and even sit politely in the walkway waiting for pats.

Mornings are my favourite time to play. I love spending a few hours in a secure cat enclosure soaking up the sunshine before racing around the house. My toy preferences are delightfully quirky — forget fancy cat toys! My favourites include building blocks, crunchy leaves, rolled up paper, a toy starfish, a small cardboard box, and especially my beloved little ball that I proudly carry around in my mouth.

As the day winds down, I turn into the ultimate cuddle buddy. I adore being carried like a baby while you relax and watch TV, and I’m always happy to curl up beside you for a cosy evening.

One of my cutest quirks is hopping into the shower after you’re done just to watch the water droplets slide down the screen. And unlike many curious kittens, I’m not interested in jumping on kitchen benches — I prefer the couch or a comfy bed.

I’m wonderfully gentle with children and have lived happily with kids aged five and up. I love sitting on laps, sharing a bed, and being part of the family routine. I get along well with other cats too — I’m not a wrestling partner just yet, but I enjoy relaxing alongside feline friends. SCA will send you a helpful email with tips for slow, positive introductions.

I’m a big fan of mealtimes and will gently remind you if breakfast or dinner is running late. I travel well in my carrier, use my litter tray perfectly, and love my fresh water every day.
