The best things in life are worth waiting for, and Trevor is no exception.

Before Trevor found his way to us as a stray, we don't know what his life looked like. We don't know who he loved, or if anyone ever taught him that people can be kind. What we do know is that Trevor is trying.

He's a gentle, shy old soul who takes his time getting to know you. Trust isn't something he gives away easily, but when he decides you're safe, it feels like the greatest gift. First comes the curiosity. You'll notice him quietly following you from room to room, watching from a respectful distance. Then he'll inch a little closer, leaning in ever so slightly for a gentle forehead scratch.

And then... the purrs begin.

They're not loud or demanding. They're low, grumbly little rumbles, like an old man sinking into his favourite armchair after a long day. Content. Peaceful. Home.

Trevor isn't looking for someone who needs an outgoing, adventurous cat. He's looking for someone patient. Someone who understands that love doesn't always arrive all at once; sometimes it tiptoes in, one forehead pat, one quiet purr, one small act of trust at a time.
