Mando is quite the enigma. At first glance, he looks like a rough-and-ready street cat, his coat telling the story of a life spent out there on his own. But don’t be fooled! Beneath that rugged exterior is one of the most loving and affectionate cats you’ll ever meet.

The moment there’s a lap available, Mando is straight on it, ready to give and receive all the smooches you could ask for. He absolutely thrives on human connection and just wants to be close to his person. And if you’re looking for a chatty companion — Mando is your guy! He is VERY vocal and loves to “talk” about everything, happily chatting away to you throughout the day. 🗣️💕

Mando is also a bit of a shoulder cat! If you give him the chance, he loves sitting up on your shoulder, getting as close to you as possible while keeping an eye on everything happening around him. 🥰

Mando first came to our attention when carers in Roebourne noticed him arriving at their home, clearly asking for help. He completed his pound time and has since been in SAFE care, where he has been desexed and microchipped.

Since coming into care, Mando has truly blossomed. In the quiet mornings, while everything else is still, he shows his sweetest side — kneading away like a little kitten on a soft blanket, happiest when curled up in someone’s arms. He is genuinely one of the most affectionate cats we’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

⚠️ Mando has tested positive for FIV. Cats with FIV can live long, happy lives with the right care and environment. ⚠️
