About Milko
Meet Milko
Some cats wear their hearts on their sleeves. Milko keeps his tucked away until he knows you're someone he can trust. Once you earn that trust, you'll discover a gentle, affectionate young boy who will reward you with endless purrs, sweet little licks and quiet companionship.
Currently living in foster care with a loving family, Milko has shown that he blossoms with patience and kindness. He enjoys chasing crinkle balls, pouncing on feather toys and will never say no to a special treat of roast chicken or a little beef. At bedtime, you'll often find him curled up on his foster carer's bed, especially if the heated blanket is on.
Milko would love a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace. A gentle older cat or a relaxed dog could help build his confidence, although he'd prefer not to be part of a very busy household with lots of animals. Starting him off in a smaller room for the first week or two will help him feel safe while he adjusts to his new surroundings.
Milko is currently a little nervous around men, so he'll need someone who understands that trust takes time. Watching his confidence grow and seeing his loving personality shine is incredibly rewarding.
Because Milko is living in foster care, we know his personality, routines and the little things that make him feel secure. We don't have a shelter you can visit, but once you've submitted an adoption application, we can arrange a meet and greet so you can get to know this handsome boy.
