Come and Meet Chonkie
Chonkie is an 18-month-old lovable doofus who is almost guaranteed to become the light of someone’s life.
We DO NOT know what breed he is - but he is NOT your average mastiff or staffy.
This gorgeous young boy arrived at the pound and, sadly, was never claimed. We suspect his medical needs may have played a part, as Chonkie requires entropion surgery to correct his turned-in eyelids. This condition can be painful and irritating, but the wonderful news is that our charity will be arranging and funding the surgery he needs.
Despite everything, Chonkie is a happy, affectionate and delightfully silly young dog with so much love to give. He has his whole life ahead of him and deserves a family who will see beyond his current medical needs and recognise the marvellous dog underneath.
We are now welcoming expressions of interest from committed adopters who can offer Chonkie a loving, stable home and support him through his treatment and recovery.
Chonkie may have been overlooked once, but we are determined to make sure he is never overlooked again.
