About Doug
Hi, my name is Doug.
My brother Keith and I came into foster care after being rescued from Logan Pound. We were both very scared when we first arrived, but we've slowly learnt that life with humans isn't so scary after all.
Out of the two of us, I'm definitely the more timid brother. I still look to Keith for comfort and reassurance because we're incredibly close, but every day I'm becoming a little braver. My foster mum tells me I'm making wonderful progress, and I'm starting to discover just how much fun life can be.
I love chasing toys, climbing all the cat trees and furniture, and zooming around with Keith. One of the best things I've learnt is that I never have to worry about being hungry again—my foster mum always makes sure my tummy is full of delicious food!
Because Keith is my very best friend, we must be adopted as a bonded pair. We do everything together—we eat together, sleep together, play together, and help each other feel safe. We've been through a lot, and the comfort we find in each other is something truly special.

Adoption details
Below is our adoption process. Please note that when adopting from Tiny Toe Beans Rescue Qld Inc, you agree to keep your cat inside or enclosed at all time as per the signed adoption application.
FIRST - Attend a Meet & Greet at the foster carer’s home so you can spend time interacting with the cat or kitten. This also gives the foster carer an opportunity to observe interactions and answer any questions you may have.
SECOND - If you would like to proceed with the adoption, an [Adoption Application](https://tinytoebeansrescueqld.org.au/AdoptionApplicationForm/) must be completed and submitted. Applications are reviewed by the Management Committee, and you will be advised of the outcome as soon as possible.
THIRD - If your Adoption Application is approved, the next step is payment of the Adoption Fee. You will receive an email from Tiny Toe Beans Rescue Qld Inc with the relevant bank details and payment instructions.
FOURTH - Once payment has been received, a mutually suitable pick-up time will be arranged with the foster carer so your new fur baby can begin their happily ever after in their furever home.
