About Teddy
🐾 Meet Teddy – Your Future Adventure Buddy, Tennis Ball Enthusiast & Professional Cuddle Expert! 🩵
If you're looking for a dog who will happily join you on your morning walk, make friends with every dog he meets, then spend the evening curled up beside you on the couch, we'd love you to meet Teddy.
This gorgeous 3 year and 2 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel came into Paw Prints Canine Rescue through absolutely no fault of his own and is now searching for the family who will love him forever.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has completed his vet work.
Like most Cavaliers, Teddy has the sweetest nature. He absolutely adores people and has a wonderful way of making himself part of the family. Wherever you are, chances are Teddy won't be far behind. Whether you're cooking dinner, working from home, gardening or relaxing with a movie, he's happiest simply being included in whatever you're doing.
Teddy has a beautiful balance of playfulness and calm. He's not a dog who's constantly on the go, but when it's time for a walk or someone reaches for the lead, his excitement is impossible to miss! His tail starts wagging, his whole body lights up, and he's ready for his next adventure.
He happily walks up to 5 kilometres, has lovely lead manners and enjoys every opportunity to get outside. If there's a tennis ball involved, even better! Teddy loves chasing after a ball and having a run around, especially if there are other dogs to play with. In fact, one of his favourite things in the world is making new four-legged friends. Big dogs, little dogs—it doesn't matter to Teddy. Everyone is a potential playmate.
Once the fun is over, Teddy transforms straight back into the affectionate Cavalier everyone knows and loves. He'll happily curl up beside you for hours, soaking up every pat, cuddle and kind word. Those famous Cavalier eyes have a way of melting hearts, and Teddy certainly knows how to use them.
Around the home, Teddy is an absolute pleasure to have. He's toilet trained, confidently uses a doggy door and has lovely house manners. At bedtime, he'll often hop onto the human bed for a cuddle before deciding his own cosy bed is the perfect place to spend the rest of the night.
Teddy is also a wonderfully quiet boy, only really finding his excitement around dinner time or when it's time to head out for a walk. The rest of the day he's content simply enjoying family life.
Children? Teddy loves them. Whether they're little ones wanting a gentle cuddle or older kids looking for a walking companion, Teddy's kind and affectionate nature shines through. He also adores other dogs and would happily join a home with an existing canine companion, but he's equally happy to be your one-and-only, as long as he has plenty of love from his humans.
Like all Cavaliers, Teddy's silky coat will need brushing every few days, along with regular eye cleaning to keep him looking as handsome as ever. A few treats along the way certainly won't go astray either—Teddy is always happy to earn a tasty reward!
More than anything, Teddy is looking for a family who will include him in life's everyday moments. Someone who enjoys getting outdoors for a walk, appreciates a loyal little shadow around the house, and has plenty of room on the couch for an extra snuggle buddy.
He's the kind of dog who makes ordinary days feel special. The one who greets you with a wagging tail, happily joins every adventure, makes friends wherever he goes, and then reminds you at the end of the day that there's nothing better than coming home to someone who loves you unconditionally.
If your home is missing a fun-loving best friend with a heart of gold, Teddy might just be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email.
