This handsome boy is one of those dogs you meet and immediately wonder how he’s looking for his forever home. He is calm, well-mannered and fully house trained.

As a Lab x Border Collie, he has the gentle, easy going nature of a Lab and just enough smarts and energy from his collie side to keep you on your toes. he’s a sweet, soft soul who loves being around his people and you’ll often find him quietly following you around from room to room to keep you company. He’ll let you know when someone’s at the door by barking, but the moment your guests are welcomed in, he is very excited to say hello. He is very well mannered and does not jump, lick of slobber but instead will bring over a toy with his tail wagging. If he gets over excited, he’ll suckle on a soft toy/blanket to settle himself down. He will look into your soul with his big brown eyes.

He knows his basic instructions like sit and down, and is very smart so he can pickup commands. His favourite trick is a hi-five. He is obsessed with tennis balls, and loves a game of fetch at the dog park. With a few treats he’ll trade the ball with you every time. The first 5 minutes of a walk he gets very excited and can sometimes pull but after a few sniffs he settles in. He’s relaxed around other dogs, often excited to say hello but will lose interest after a while.

At home he is an absolute dream, he is toilet trained and will let you know when he needs to go by touching the door or giving you a gentle bark. He’s happy to he directed out of the kitchen, although you may find him inching his way back in (he loves his food). At night he will settle into his own bed and once he is comfortable and feels at home, he may accept an invite up onto your bed. His absolute favourite spot is burrowed under the blankets near your feet.

He can be reactive to motorbikes and cyclists when they get close, but with a bit of distance he is absolutely fine. He loves being in the car and going on adventures with you. He deserved a home where he can be part of the family, indoors included. He is a gentle, loving companion.
