About Butterscotch
Meet Sweet Butterscotch!🧡
Just like his name suggests, this adorable 2-year-old boy is as sweet as can be.
Butterscotch is a shy and gentle soul who takes a little time to trust new people. Once he feels safe, though, his true personality shines. He transforms into a playful, affectionate companion who loves curling up on your lap and following you around the house like your very own ginger shadow. 🥹
Because of his timid nature, Butterscotch is looking for a calm, quiet home with patient adopters who understand that some cats need time to settle in. He would do best with people who have experience with anxious or nervous cats and can let him adjust at his own pace.
When he's feeling confident, Butterscotch loves playing with his toys, racing around the house during his energetic zoomies, and happily accepting his favourite treats. Watching him grow in confidence and blossom into the loving cat he truly is is incredibly rewarding.
If you're looking for a loyal companion and are willing to give him the time and understanding he deserves, Butterscotch will repay you with endless love, companionship, and plenty of ginger charm.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
