About Trumpet
Meet Trumpet 🎺
Don't let her quiet nature fool you—Trumpet has plenty of personality tucked away behind those adorable British Shorthair cheeks.
She's a sweet little girl who enjoys life's simple pleasures: chasing springs across the floor, pouncing on toy mice, and making sure she's first in line whenever food is involved (she's a self-confessed foodie!).
Trumpet loves a cuddle, but she's also an independent lady who appreciates having her boundaries respected. She isn't a fan of being carried around all the time and prefers affection on her own terms. Give her a little patience and let her come to you, and you'll be rewarded with plenty of smooches.
She's happy living with respectful dogs, other cats, and children who understand that sometimes a lady just needs a little personal space.
Like many British Shorthairs, Trumpet is prone to watery eyes, a common breed trait caused by the shape of their face. She may occasionally need Chlorsig eye drops twice daily as required to keep her eyes comfortable, but it's an easy part of her routine.
Trumpet also has a sensitive tummy and is currently thriving on Royal Canin Kitten Dry Food alongside Royal Canin Kitten Mousse, so she'll need a home that's happy to keep her on the diet that suits her best.
If you're looking for a kitten who is playful without being over-the-top, affectionate without being clingy, and full of quiet charm, Trumpet could be the perfect addition to your family.
Medical notes
Trumpet has a couple of ongoing medical needs that are simple to manage.
She is prone to watery eyes, which is relatively common in British Shorthairs due to their facial structure. To keep her comfortable, she may require Chlorsig eye drops twice daily as needed during flare-ups.
Trumpet also has a sensitive tummy and is currently doing very well on Royal Canin Kitten Dry Food and Royal Canin Kitten Mousse. To help keep her tummy settled, her new family should continue feeding this diet unless advised otherwise by their veterinarian.
