About Starling
Meet Starling ✨
Starling is looking for someone who believes the best relationships are worth waiting for. She's a little project cat, meaning she takes her time settling into new surroundings and getting to know new people. But once you've earned her trust, you'll have a loyal little shadow who loves attention, gives sweet kitty kisses, and happily curls up on the lap of her favourite person.
This playful girl has energy to spare and loves a wide variety of toys, though she can become a little overstimulated during play. She'll thrive with someone who understands feline body language, respects her boundaries, and allows her to build confidence at her own pace.
Starling would be happiest in an adult-only home, but she may also suit a family with gentle, cat-savvy teenagers who understand when she needs space.
If you're patient, kind, and ready to let Starling blossom in her own time, you'll be rewarded with an incredibly special bond. Could you be the person she's been waiting for?
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
