Big in size and even bigger in personality, Rooney is a handsome boy who's ready to find his forever home.

With his striking ginger coat and friendly nature, Rooney is a wonderful companion who enjoys being around people. While he was a little shy when he first arrived at the shelter, his confidence has grown beautifully, and he's now more than happy to greet visitors, lean into pats, and satisfy his curiosity by exploring everything around him.

Rooney is a social boy who loves attention and has shown just how much he enjoys spending time with people. Whether he's rubbing against your hand for affection or following the promise of a tasty treat, his gentle, food-motivated nature makes it easy to build a bond with him. Watching Rooney come out of his shell has been a joy, and we're sure he'll continue to flourish in a loving home.
