About Lentil
Lentil has the most gorgeous little face 🥰 He is a little nervous around new people, but this poor boy has been previously abused, and he slept outside 100% of the time without ever having any shelter or a warm bed. He is 4 years old and with his hard life he looks so much older than he should 💔
Despite being mistreated he is such a sweet little man. He can be standoffish of humans when he first meets you, but does quickly warm up. He is also friendly with other dogs. This boy needs to be shown what love is 🤗
He will require a patient and experienced owner to show him that not all humans are bad and that he can trust again ❤️ A quiet, patient and loving home is what he will need to come out of his shell.

Meet Lentil, an American Staffy Cross with the most endearing face that captures hearts with a single look. Despite a challenging start, this four-year-old bundle of sweetness is ready to discover what a loving family truly means. Lentil's past has left him with a few emotional scars, but his resilient spirit shines through as he slowly learns that kindness can come from human hands. Initially a tad nervous around new faces, Lentil quickly warms up, relishing the companionship of those he trusts.
Lentil is wonderfully social with other dogs and would thrive in a household with a furry friend that matches his energetic nature. Having another dog around can be particularly beneficial for him, providing companionship and showing him the ropes of a loving home. A meet-and-greet would be essential to ensure a perfect match between furry siblings. It is recommended that Lentil's new family consists of adults, or older, dog-savvy children who can help him adjust at his own pace as he learns to trust again.
Beyond his initial jitters with humans, Lentil simply needs a patient and understanding owner who will devote time to nurturing his confidence. His ideal home is a tranquil haven filled with love, patience, and gentle encouragement. With a little warmth and care, Lentil is sure to blossom into an affectionate companion with his own unique zest for life.
Fully vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms, Lentil is healthy and ready for his new adventure. While he needs a cat-free environment, Lentil has so much to offer to the right family. All that's left is a patient, tender home where this sweet soul can finally experience the love he deserves and open up to a world brimming with joy and wagging tails.
