About Duke
Based in Horsham Rural Victoria 3400
Time has arrived for Duke our recently desexed purebreed Chocolate Labrador. (We have all the information on his parents.
Duke is 7 years and 5 months old (DOB 18/01/2019). He is a big, handsome boy with a heart full of love and a playful spirit to match.
Duke is incredibly affectionate and loves spending time with his people. Whether it's a cuddle or following you around the yard, he's happiest when he's close to those he loves.
Duke has a fun, boisterous personality and absolutely loves chasing balls and toys. Because of his energetic nature, Duke would thrive in a home with plenty of room to run and play, or with an active family who'll include him in their adventures.
Despite his size and enthusiasm, Duke has lovely manners. He's great with kids, doesn't jump up on people, and seems to do well around other dogs with the right introductions.
Duke is very strong on the lead when out walking. He is best walked on a halti.
Duke requires good secure fencing, has not lived with cats and due to his size and bounding energy is best in a home with primary school aged and above children.
Duke is ready to find a family who will give him the love, exercise, and companionship he's been waiting for. In return, he'll offer unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and plenty of happy memories. He is a gentle, playful companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality.
Duke is flea and worm treated, fully vaccinated, recently desexed and microchipped. His adoption fee is $650.00.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
